Gameplay Details
There are 5 vehicle classes: D, C, B, A, S. The higher the class, the cooler and more powerful the cars, but it is also much more difficult to get them. Unlike the previous part of the series, you can’t buy cars in the store for credits. Now all cars, without exception you can assemble from blueprints. You can get blueprints in the following ways: open kits for daily promotions, buy in store, earn through the career and participate in online races.
All these opportunities open up to the player gradually. The more you participate in races and win, the faster you get new cars. However, you won’t be able to drive the same car constantly. Each car has a fuel parameter in Asphalt 9 Legends. There can be a maximum of 6 units, which is enough for 6 races. Refueling takes place every half hour. However, don’t worry. Having opened 5-6 cars, you can already ride almost without a break, and if you run out of gas, you can instantly replenish it for tokens.
There are three ways to drive a car. This is a gyroscope control, where you have to turn the device in a certain direction to turn the car’s steering wheel, control by pressing arrows on the screen, and a new kind of Touchdrive. Thanks to it, you can even drive a car with one hand using swipes.
