Craft The World is an unusual 2D strategy game about digger gnomes surviving in fantasy and very hostile worlds filled with magic, monsters and underground treasures. Players will find quite a successful mix of Minecraft, Terraria and a fun farm. This game allows you to completely relax and forget about the problems of the world around you, because we have our own, albeit virtual, world with many obstacles, opportunities for development and territories covering vast expanses.
Play in auto-generated worlds with tons of opportunities
The world in Craft The World is a randomly generated limited area in 2D. It has two main play areas. This is the surface and the dungeons. The surface contains most of the resources needed for survival such as wood, water, food, etc. All sorts of edible animals walk along it, some enemies (undead, goblins). Sunlight contributes to the growth of vegetation, while heavy rains fill the reservoirs.
Under the ground is a large amount of minerals needed to create hundreds of materials useful in construction, war, and survival. In addition to resources in the form of: sand, stone, iron, coal, silver, gold, mithril, precious stones, exotic plants and inhabitants, etc., you can find ancient treasures, secret rooms, abandoned catacombs and lost portals.
Game worlds offer an abundance of certain resources, climate features and the presence of special enemies. You can meet new creatures, new resources, and open new crafting recipes. In the ice world, you can even create your own ice castle!
Sophisticated crafting system
Creation of food, building materials, ammunition, etc. is one of the main entertainment in Craft The World. You can create a whole bunch of any useful junk in it. Starting from vital things, such as weapons, building materials, tools for work, food, armor and ending with special magic, potions and interior decorations.
The game provides a huge selection in the creation of items. In campaign mode, players will be able to develop a technology branch that allows them to move up the science tree. The crafting system is not difficult, but the interface is very convenient. Find recipes in the menu, so you do not need to guess or select anything.
In free play, you can choose a mode where all recipes and technologies are available at once. At least on the fifth day, players can already craft armor from mithril, if only there are enough resources.
Make upgrades and use magic
When certain conditions are met, you will gain experience and one new dwarf into your group. The higher the level in Craft The World, the larger the population of your world, the stronger the military power and the working return.
In addition to pumping your persona, the workers can also improve their own skills. Each gnome has certain skills that characterize him as a master in a certain area. By collecting skill books, you can upgrade your hard workers. At the same time, you assign some of the skills yourself. Create a good miner with the appropriate characteristics (mining and climbing), or create hunter, home cook or warrior.
In addition to all the not small features, the developers have also added magic! In the arsenal, the player will have full-fledged spells that can create teleports, cause fiery rain on the heads of enemies, grow trees and even summon demons of helpers! Magic allows the player to facilitate the life of the dwarves and sometimes it is impossible to do without it at all.
Fight hordes of enemies
You will not be able to develop peacefully. Craft The World is full of dangers and enemies eager to kill the bearded miners. In addition to natural hazards such as deep reservoirs, sheer cliffs, landslides in mines, lava, there is still a whole bunch of enemies pursuing their own goals.
Someone wants to kill your miners, and someone wants to profit from the treasures from the warehouse. In any case, you have to defend yourself. All kinds of enemies will attack your settlement with a short interval. The next attack time is displayed on the screen. Organization of defense and combat operations to destroy enemy camps is no less fun than crafting and crawling through the mines. There are many enemies, and if you do not rebuild the defense, then they will your workers overnight and ruin the house.
Even if you learn to repel attacks on the surface, and your fortress turns out to be truly impregnable, you will have to rely only on your sword underground. Going down into the mines and digging into the depths, you can disturb very dangerous creatures. Of course, you cannot awaken the Balrog, but you still meet no less creepy and dangerous creatures that can cope even with a well-armed group.
