Take-Two gets 53% of its revenue from mobile games, all thanks to Zynga. Moreover, Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has received more than $31 million in stocks, all thanks to the company’s high metrics.
It turns out that Take-Two’s CEO income depends on how much the company earns from microtransactions and the sale of copies of games. In addition, Zelnick has a plan to make even more money out of it.
Take-Two wants to focus on watching ads, as this will allow you to earn money from 100% of the audience, and not just from those who have money or desire to spend it on their favorite games. Strauss Zelnick believes that only 10% of the audience of Take-Two games spend their money on in-game purchases. Moreover, if this does not change, advertising will be used.
